Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Explosive Rockets

A new firework star type that explodes blocks upon popping. The visual design of the actual star could look like the TNT particles dyed to the star's dye type. This could add new angles for mining, by exposing blocks that might be across lava, and you want to check if it's worth trying to bridge over. It could bring new, but smaller advantages to building, by removing bits of far away dirt scaffolding that you forgot, or any other scaffolding made out of lower blast resistant blocks. And it could work in PVP, by removing a player's cover from a distance.

Using sand, or a block of TNT in the star's crafting recipe would be my first choice, but balancing would be needed for both. It would also make up for the attempted "Bomb arrow" shown in a scrapped development clip.
