Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Use bamboo as a spear 

Bamboo has not been given much importance, in ancient China the best weapon was bamboo. Just imagine being able to create bamboo spears, it would be like the trident but weaker, it would do less damage than an arrow but it would be quick to achieve, you could also place it on a bow to launch the spear.

    I agree with it mainly, but I don't think it should be able to be shot from a bow

    It should be launchable from crossbows so that it acts essentially as a heavy crossbow bolt, but it should not be compatible with the normal bow as it would be way too visually unwieldy.
    It should cause more wear and tear and take longer than arrows to load for crossbows due to it's shear size.
    It should have more reach than a sword even as it does less damage.
    Most importantly walking into a spear head should cause damage dependent on how fast the target and spear are moving towards each other at the time of impact.
