Portals that take you to Your friends world

I think it would be really cool if we had a portal system in Minecraft almost like the portal system in Rick and Morty. You can make a portal out of a certain block and you go in it and choose which friend that is online you want to travel to. You would need to send a request for joining the friends game and they can choose to accept or decline it. Once they accept it you are able to travel to their world and back to yours and they as well are able to travel to your world.

This would open up the Minecraft universe astronomically even tho the worlds are infinite mapping the whole world would take 858,255,616 maps, and the world would probably get boring before your 10th map. Also, a lot of people lose their houses or bases during the process of exploring. This feature would give you a whole new world to explore and work with instead of traveling far and losing your house.

    I would even like to be able to keep all my stuff from one world and go to a random other one or one you found before that you might like to build on but keep all your stuff

    Yes. Except you and your friend would have to build in same coordinates in your world to “link” portals. If they were online and portal is open you could join. Benefit would be you can bring gear and whatever you want In Your inventory

    portals would be linked by player in both worlds to join and set to a built portal and location like attaching a name tag to a mob.

    if the player is online then portal is on if player is off line portal is off, or if player is blocking you.

    the worlds are entered no different then End or Nether just now step into the friend's world 

    policies are same as inviting friends to your world currently work. and maby more options.

    what you bring stays on you entering a world it stays with you unless you leave it behind in or build with it at that point it stays in that world you left it in, use you worlds resources to build in friends world.

    survival worlds could join ether survival and remain survival or join creative and loss survival properties  a notification would be a good idea.

    my idea is my forever world is old 11,000 plus days played in and is from 1.12 old and new items with no chunks reset continue to make thigs harder to come by and worlds become supper large adding this allows players to help others also spawn points would be set like normal unless user is offline and then reset back to you worlds portal.
