What if when the player kills a Warden, it doesn't actually die, instead it just sinks into the ground. A minute later, it would 're-emerge' out of nearby sculk blocks. This would give well equipped players a way to slow the Warden down, but ultimately it would be useless to directly attack it. Because of this mechanic, once all sculk blocks are removed from the area, the Warden would not be able to respawn there.
PS: It's been confirmed the Warden will not drop loot upon death.
