Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Minecraft has a tree problem

Mojang should change how wood is named in mc. This will help adding new types of wood to the game and avoiding community complaining :) Apples dont grow on oak trees, eh? Like instead of birch, spruce, oak, dark oak etc. jus call it wood, dark wood, softwood, hardwood. Theres an inconsistency, when oak makes oak wood and jungle wood is made of... Eh? Then mojang can add a new tree type and just change the bark texture. At the same time, different types of wood could have different properties like one catches fire faster but smelts better, or one smelts worse but is harder (like boats harder to destroy) This change wouldnt be huge, just sobe new names and a couple of new textures, but it would make including new trees easier and divide some biomes like spruce/pine.

    What inconsistency? Wood from Oak trees makes Oak Wood. Wood from Jungle trees makes Jungle Wood. Sounds consistent to me...
