Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

rework lily-pads (The Wild update)

I think that lilypads should have a new design and function, with the Wild Update. so lilypads are pretty much outdated now in their design and if swamps are getting an overhaul, why shouldn't lilypads.

my idea is to make lilypads more like drip leaves, in the sense that players can SLIP off lilypads if they are stood on them for too long.

secondly, the design should change to better fit the current quality of Minecraft, I think they could be made rounder and made more like Santa Cruz water lilypads, being shaped more like a bowl and having a stem growing from below the water right down to the bed of the swamp.

thirdly, why not add more water-based flora to go with the lilypads, a few examples:

Cattails- a tall upright plant that grows in shallow water

Swamp lily- which could come in white and pink variants

Mosaic plants- clusters of red or green leaves with yellow cup flowers scattered amongst them.

What do you think? I think that they would be "Absolutely Splendid" :)

    Yeh, I think they should make them look like 3D models, just like the ones in the concept art. Maybe it could work like sea pickles? Maybe you can add more than one lily pad to a water block. OR, 2-3 on different water blocks right next to the original will make them join up somehow
