Removed biomes

Many variant and modified biomes have been removed in the latest snapshots, while this has no direct affect on gameplay, this will directly affect map makers that use these excess biomes. The unised biomes where able to be modified into something completely unique without the need of mods that directly add in new biomes. With the removal of these variants, map makers like me will have a significantly smaller selection of biomes and custom biomes to use.

  Can't you just create your own biomes? Genuine question. I mean it might be inconvenient, but having so much biome clutter is just unnecessary and I believe may impact performance. It just makes sense to merge them.
