Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Portal Pearls

Portal Pearls would be new drops you would find from new mobs in the end. They would take the form of two items, the purple pearl, and the green pearl.

When thrown, they would create portals that would allow players to walk into one, and come out the other (like in the game Portal).

The benefits of the portal pearls over the ender pearls are that you won't immediately teleport, so messing up the throw won't kill you, and that the portals remain open for 15 seconds, so multiple players and even mobs can hop through. However, the cons of the portal pearls are that they're not as accessible as ender pearls.

These mechanics would make portal pearls a fun and creative inclusion to the end dimension

    What would be your idea for using them? Thrown like an ender pearl or perhaps a Slingshot to launch them with bow mechanics?

    This is from the creator of this post! A mob idea I have in mind that would drop these pearls are called the bindings. In short, these end mobs would teleport by swapping positions and would share HP.
