There should be an piston which alternates between being sticky and not being sticky each time it is used.
This is needed more on Bedrock, but should be on Java as well.
If you place a block by this piston, then extend and retract the piston it would push the block and leave it (not sticky). But the next cycle it would grab the block and pull it back (sticky).
This could be used to make similar redstone builds that are currently Java only which rely on sticky pistons "spitting" blocks when given a one tick pulse. However, it would not be exactly the same for two reasons. First, the behavior would not depend on the timing of the signal. Second, the behavior alternates every use.
I think this would be a great way to greatly increase the redstone build options in bedrock, increase it some in Java, and bring more parity between the two. For whatever reason, sticky pistons behave differently in Java and Bedrock. I hope this suggestion provides a simple way to close that gap without breaking either edition.
The crafting recipe could be 1 sticky piston plus 1 piston = 2 alternating pistons.
