Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The Netting block

Have you ever seen people use iron bars as hanging nets or ropes? The net block would at lots of new building possibilities and look better than using spider web or iron bars. It would functionally work like iron bars in terms of shape how it connected to blocks, except it would have a color similar to leads and be textured to look like.. well, a net. It could be crafted from 4 string to create 4 net blocks.

    This would be great since I’m trying to build a trampoline and would like to have that safety net design around it but I don’t want to use iron bars.

    This would be a great addition and could be used for lots of decorative purposes. It might also be able to cancel maybe half of fall damage.
