Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

A idea for another use for Cactus

The fruit, "Dragon Fruit" grows on a cactus like tree. I don't know much about how that tree blooms and grows fruit. One thing I do know about plants in the desert is, they blossom for a short period of time after a heavy rain storm.

I was thinking have the cactus bear fruit for 24 hours (game time) after a FULL night of rain... No sleeping at night when it is raining!! Have the fruit pick able at sun rise.

** Optional** Longer the cactus is bearing that fruit and more you get per pick (1-morning... 2-around sunset... 3-right before sunrise...) (**You want 3 per pick, you have to fight off Mobs while picking!**) **

At "Sun Rise" they disappear!! **Just as the Mobs caught on fire!**

    Certainly could be a fun new potion ingredient, even if one makes a secured cactus farm they would be dependent on the weather for harvesting, pretty neat, not sure what sort of effect would be appropriate. Maybe one that doubles XP gained while the potion is in effect? Or gives a Luck effect?
