Biome Compass

Compass of Biomes Item "Biome Compass" is needed in order to find biomes with it. You need to make it so that it is quite difficult to access and at the initial stage of the game it is definitely not possible to get it. You can also make sure that he sometimes gave false testimony. Example: you put a jungle on the compass, you came, and in this place there is a desert instead of a jungle. It is also possible that initially it could not show all biomes. To unlock everything, you need to craft an expensive upgrade. I believe that this will not greatly affect the balance of the game if you make this item difficult to access.

    Small tweak to your idea...

    It's not a compass you can make but a regular enchanted compass you buy from a cartograph villager for a big ammount of emeral. each would have a compass that point to a different biome.

    It would aim toward the closest biome of that type. If you're currently in the biome, it would point at random direction aimlessly, like in the neither, or with a broken lodestone.
