Migrating accounts

I think that this Migrating Accounts thing is a bit strange. The fact that you can't play Minecraft until your account is migrated makes me a bit mad. My friends and I were really excited to finally play Minecraft after a long week of school and I get this screen notifying me that I don't have Minecraft downloaded and that I should "play demo". At the bottom it says "Migrate Account" but I don't have a choice to migrate it.
