I would like to suggest a hunger bar for all tameable mobs (obviously after they have been tamed, the hunger bar will show). By adding such features to the game, it would be interesting to add more experience on how people would care for their pets in Minecraft. It has come to my attention that a lot of people only use their Minecraft pets as decoration, and nothing else. People should know the importance of caring for their pets. If their pet dies of starvation, they will learn that they need to start caring for the pet. This can also help younger audiences learn the importance of feeding and caring for your pets. Another reason why I think this should be added is because pets don't have much of a meaning in Minecraft. Horses/Mules/Donkeys are just to get around, dogs are just for protection against mobs (though they are sat down most of the time), cats are used to keep creepers away, and axolotls are just used to fight underwater creatures. Obviously, this alone is great and all, but it'd be nice if people could be more engaged in their pets. This feature could also create a sense of scarcity for food in the world, forcing the players to start animal and crop farms. However, players with creeper farms may be at risk, as they use cats sometimes for their farm and will have to feed the cats constantly. Of course, the animal should lose hunger due to activity. If it's just sat down, it will lose hunger the slowest, however, if its very active, it loses hunger a bit faster.
