Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Gold Ore in Mesa Biomes

What if the gold ore in mesa biomes, instead of just having a sort of stone "background", they had a terracotta "background" as nether gold has a netherrack "background". It could have a similar drop to nether gold and maybe even look similar, it might also spawn closer to the surface, maybe a little bit on the surface. I feel like it would add a little bit of flavor to the biome without being a huge overhaul, but this could be paired with a huge mesa upgrade like what was presented in the biome vote.

    Honestly, this is a good idea, though I think Minecraft should have a few updates before adding this feature.
