Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Genesisphene (new material)

Genesisphene is found in the end and is black with purple specks and has a green hew. It can be used as a decorative block, or a defensive block, as it is very durable. It can even withstand a blue wither skull blast

You need a netherite pickaxe to break genesisphene. Diamond pic will work but it’s slower, and will drop cracked genesisphene

If it is dropped in water as an item, it will be destroyed after a while. If placed next to water it will crack and you can get cracked genesisphene. It will float above the void. It is lava resistant but not cactus resistant
