Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Textured elytra from feathers

So there is an already under review idea about adding more birds to minecraft and I could not agree more with that. I love flying and I dream of being in the sky when I'm older. So in minecraft id love to add to the already wonderful elytra by adding a little "pizazz" to soaring through the clouds. Let's say every so often (rare) a bird will leave behind a feather that is corresponding to the breed and color. This could be simular to how chickens lay eggs in the game already. Well let's say you get 4 of them you could add it to the crafting bench with with slime and a elytra in the middle. This could add a new pattern to the elytra. Falcon, eagle, even super colorful bird feathers could be used. Flying is wonderful as well as the birds that inhabit the skies it would be a wonderful experience to fly among them. With a little "pizazz" :)
