So far, the warden seems pretty scary, and it should be scary, but there could be a lot of ways it can change the environment.
I think first there should be dripstone along the top of every deep dark biome, and the warden should be able to make the dripstone fall down. The warden could also be able to turn normal blocks into sculk blocks, similar to the snow golem, with the block having a 50% chance of it being a sculk moss block, 20% chance of it being a sculk stone block, 20% chance of it being a sculk sensor block, and a 10% chance of it being a new block, called a sculk scanner. The sculk scanner would be a brighter blue than the normal sculk, with it flickering like the warden's chest. When you step within 2 blocks of a sculk scanner, you will get the glowing effect for 15 seconds, glowing the same blue as the block. The sculk scanner would let off the same amount of light as a redstone torch, but it would be blue and not flicker from the warden's presence. The warden will be able to see you as if it was a normal mob and will have a seeing radius of 100 blocks. This block along with sculk sensors and sculk stone would be directional.
