    Hostile mobs aren't much of a threat anymore. Blood Moons could pose a challenge.

    What would happen?

    • Only affect the Overworld.
    • A Blood Moon would be a red Full Moon (it would also compound on the normal Full Moon effects).
    • Blood Moon's would last a full dawn/dusk/night cycle.
    • Red hue would cover the Overworld for the duration of the Blood Moon.
    • Hostile/Compound mob spawn rates would double (hope you slept...because PHANTOMS).
    • Hostile mobs would also receive 2x their normal HP.
    • Blood Moon Siege - Warning bells in villages would sound in the presence of a Blood Moon, and would act much like a raid. Players would elect to defend a village from a siege. Doing so would trigger a siege bar, much like a raid; however, this bar lasts until the Blood Moon is over.
    • Players couldn't sleep through the night; however, Blood Moons could be disabled.

    What would be the point?

    • Players would be rewarded with double XP & drops during a Blood Moon.
    • Achievement could be earned for defending a village from a Blood Moon Siege - "Blood Moon Defender".
    • Achievement would be earned for witnessing a Blood Moon rising - "Blood Moon Rising".
    • Achievement would be earned for witnessing a Blood Moon setting - "Blood Moon Survivor".
