Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Temporary Block

A cheap to craft non-spawnable solid block which disintegrates into nothing within a few minutes of placement. It would be useful as temporary scaffolding that you don't need to remove manually when building things.

    It could be crafted using leaves whose disintegration behavior is already well known. However, this block should disintegrate even when connected to wood.

    More morbidly, it could be crafted using rotten flesh, plausibly rotting away and providing another use for rotten flesh.

    Good idea. Maybe it disintegrates after a day. Because last time I checked it takes me an hour to build a house that tall. Not a earth day btw, a Minecraft day.
