Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Note Blocks Require Amethyst Instead of Redstone

Ever since note blocks were introduced into the game they required Redstone dust. This however makes no sense seeing as to how Redstone powers and doesn't make music.

It would make much more sense if Amethyst shards or blocks were In the recipe instead because of its musical trait when it gets interacted with.

Overall this just makes sense and I hope this gets introduced in a future update.

    You're thinking of jukeboxes. Real-life record players have tips to sense the record grooves, which are sometimes made of diamond. Note blocks are crafted with redstone dust.

    I like the idea of the swap if nothing else to increase the use of amethyst and make it more like since it's not a diamond taken away from tools or armor to make a jukebox

    Is really jukeboxes but ok, better they will need a Amythist block to not be too inexpensive
