Please add Bamboo Tops to stop further growth of Bamboo ( I use Glass atm)

Please add Bamboo Tops to stop further growth of Bamboo. Presently I use a Glass 'Rod" (a single pane of glass not adjacent to any other blocks). My present solution is ok, but there are tiny visible squares floating over the Bamboo. Still, better that having them grow on and on...

    (Instead of glass, place string above it) I think that tops to bamboo would be great and they could add a feature to cut the tops to make spiked bamboo.

    Just want to add my support for this idea. In snapshot 21w27a, this has been implemented for certain vines. Would be nice to have it for bamboo... really any plant that grows over time.
