You can still barter with Piglins though. I you right click them with a gold ingot it will trade with them.

I do agree though. Especially the Villager breeding, since it's impossible with Mob Griefing turned off.

Hang on, turning off mob griefing removes snow farms and villager breeding?

    Sheeeeeeiiiiiii...

I recently started a realms server with some buddies with cheats enabled: keep inventory and disable mob griefing. I had no idea that rule had such expansive ramifications - I certainly didn't mean to turn off all the other features that rely on it being toggled on. No wonder the village we started in is totally depopulated now.

want ghast fireballs to explode in the Nether. I want the Wither to lay waste to everything around it when summoned. I even want endermen to randomly move individual blocks like they do. We're just sick of creepers blowing up our houses and other stuff. That's how I got here - I went into the Nether and realized ghast fireballs weren't exploding so I searched for a way to specifically disable only creeper griefing in Bedrock.

Apparently that's not an option at present, which is a total bummer. I honestly don't think I could play this game anymore without keep inventory and creepers not blowing stuff up. Had no idea I was signing up for breaking a large chunk of the game by opting for the latter.

The game rule is for any mob to affect blocks or items the way that they do, so it makes sense that it's all applied as is. However, there should be more specifics added, sub-categories, a way to toggle which ones to enable or disable, rather than all or none.

Bedrock edition can't use the data manipulation work arounds available in Java edition for this. This proposal is a better approach, more user friendly and needs to be added to bedrock edition.

Yeah, this should be definetly more configurable.
I'd like to turn only off creeper and Ghasts for example, every other destruction is predictable somehow (in my eyes). And the biggest problem as it is now is that friendly mobs like villagers are also affected by this setting.
