Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sorting chest suggestion

Automatic sorting is really a bulky issue. Could Mojang not develop a new item called a sorting chest? Craft it by combining a chest and a comparator? The chest features one open slot above the normal inventory slots. This slot is to be filled with the item to be sorted for. Run hoppers into the chest and only the item in the sorting slot can be let into the chest. Else the items move to next hopper or hopper.
