I hear people complaining about the difficulty of Minecraft and I am on the same boat with them. The game has become so easy that gathering items has become easy on Hard Mode. There is less rarity on the items being found for exciting loot and mobs are just too easy. Plus there is no quests to make the game much more story-based.
So I was thinking of Conquest Mode.
In this mode, I feel like certain items should not be crafted until you buy a crafting recipe from villagers of different professions. And the most rarest crafting recipes can only be found when a villager has reached master level (diamond tier). Also, these crafting recipes come in the form of books (with the names of blocks that can be crafted) that can be used instantly (like eating food) and give the player the ability to craft certain items.
In Conquest Mode, the player can only craft leather items and stone items.
Quests are found from villagers in readable books that tell the user what to do amd what to give villagers in order to earn a certain item. Mabey the "Manager" villager of the village. Some books are found in structures nad tell the user of new quests that can get them rare items.
Mobs also need unique special abilities when approached or attacked. Especially those "flying stingrays" at night when you dont sleep. I feel like those stingrays need to appear to the player in a full moon or a new moon in mulitples and the player cant sleep until they are defeated completely. Making the game better.
