Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Auto Crafting

In vanilla Minecraft crafting a lot of the same stuff can get boring. Auto crafting would make those annoying and repetitive crafting projects much easer. An example is if you have a gold farm and your storage is full of gold nuggets then you have to spend hours making them into ingots than blocks. This could also help if you needed a lot of dispensers. It would not be as simple as putting the items on one side and the thing you want comes out the other side. As previous YouTube videos have showed us that you would have to build large machines to even make a comparator. You would also have to be able to move it. It would make the game more fun because you would spend less time doing boring things like crafting 1000 dispensers instead you would spend that time exploring a cave or fighting some mobs.

    I feel like this post is poorly worded so I'll put my "wants" for auto crafting in a more structured way as a comment.

    1. Give the crafting table an inventory so items can stay in it when you don't have it open.

    2. Let hoppers be able to push items into and take items out of the crafting table. (prioritize pulling recipe over items, Can only push into empty slots)

    3. Let comparators interact with crafting tables where there is one signal strength for each slot filled.

     

    This would be enough to let us use redstone to automate crafting.
