Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Glow Berry + Fermented Spider Eye = Potion of Blindness Ingredient

My idea is that if you collect a glow berry, combine it with a (Fermented?) Spider Eye, you would get a Spoiled Glow Berry, which could be used as a potion ingredient to brew a Potion of Blindness.

Naturally, the Potion of Blindness would be useless to the player (Buff-wise), but wouldn't a Potion of Poison be the same? Instead, what if when combined with gunpowder in a Brewing Stand, you could use it to reduce how far mobs or attacking players can see? I believe that it would add another aspect to PVP, and it could probably be used in some sort of mob farm.

    I believe so, yes. (I am not fully familiar with the mob targeting AI)

    or you could just put a glow berry in, then a fermented spider eye. No need for a new item.

    If you only put a glow berry in... would it be a potion of brightness? Perhaps it would give the same effect as a Spectral Arrow.

    Maybe instead of a potion of brightness, it would make the affected glow (like a spectral arrow), so a Potion of Glowing? The idea of not needing a new item I like.
