*Temperate* rainforests (mossy forests like in the UK)

Now that moss exists in Minecraft, there should be a new biome similar to the temperate rainforests in the real world. There could be crooked trees, vines and lots of moss covering almost everything, including the trees. The grass colour could be something between forest and swamp.

Temperate rainforests are a real but rare type of forest found in cooler climates, such as in Europe and North America. Due to moisture they are very lush, and often even the trees are covered in moss. These forests look very beautiful in my opinion. As the title suggests, a good example of what I am thinking about are the temperate rainforests in the UK. I recommend searching for pictures of them if you do not know what they look like.

The new moss blocks inspired this idea, but I also thought that this could even educate people on the different environments on our Earth, which seems to be something the developers like to do. This biome would be great for fantasy type builds.

  This was my post, but I can't edit it. I wanted to add that this biome could act as a border biome between swamps and forests. It would create a nice smooth transition to a less wet biome, similar to the jungle edge, which already exists.

  That's similar to what i thought, i imagined a forest with shorter and wider trees, but that would work too
