I think the End is a little empty, yeah end cities exist, but are meant for after completing the game and are pretty rare themselves. What about an ore that is found in the end, like "Enderium". This could be the new 1.19 update. Netherite is a one of its kind ore, not until now. Finding Enderium isn't going to be easy, having rare chance of spawning with a the y level being around 3 to 4 blocks above the last end stone block before the void appears on the dragon and end city islands being the most common place of the ore appearing. End city islands will have a higher chance of containing these bad boys than the Ender Dragon island. Crafting recipe of an "Enderium ingot" would be a task. First, place a nether quartz ore in each corner of the crafting table. Then, place a "raw Enderium" in each slot in the crafting table but the middle one, which will be occuppied with one end stone block. How will they be used for armor would be simple. Just placing one in a smithing table with a netherite tool or armor piece would make "Enderium armor", maybe even giving a special effect of 2 extra hearts with full set on (extra half a heart for each armor piece). Also, you'll be immune to fall damage on end stone (which could be optional) and talk 3/4 or 4/5 of end crystal explosion damage. Small caves, like 1.16 overworld caves, can also be generated in both Ender Dragon and end city islands containing these bussin' bussin' ores. More mobs and structures could also come in this update.
