Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Leaf items

There is Leaves in Minecraft but what about a item? The Leaf item will be obtained by well...Random drops or the Creative Inventory. Mine a random Leaf Block and the Leaf will randomly drop. It has a 70% chance out of 100%. You can also get this from the Creative Inventory. All the different Leaf item colors & shades will be the same depending on what Tree & Leafs it was dropped by. So say like you mined a random Birch Leaf Block & it dropped the Leaf item it would have the same colors & shades! Same with all other Leaf items. Also if you got a Leaf item from a Jungle Leaf the name would display as "Jungle Leaf" same with all other Leaf items displayed names. So I think that the little leafs we find on the ground outside our homes should be in Minecraft. Also you can craft 4 Leaf Blocks with 4 Leaf items in  a 2×2 grid. Also on BE

    Just because it doesn't have a current use doesn't mean that it couldn't have a future use. This could be used in item frames and potions and in crafting niche tools. But yes, this should be mentioned in the original post.
