Banner marker on maps for bedrock edition

In bedrock edition of Minecraft, you can't just click a map and have a banner be displayed as a waypoint sorta thing like you can on java edition. I think this would be very helpful for us bedrock players

    Ive always wanted waypoint like things then i figured out you could but then i also figured out its only on java

    I hope they make it like Java where you can have different colors. It’s really confusing when all you have is certain green points are. Placing a map in an item frame doesn’t work in any other place than the overworld so I can’t set up camp without having to write a bunch of coordinates down

    I don’t understand why this still isn’t a thing. I have a Huge city in bedrock and being able to mark different streets or districts on my map would be amazing for immersion and building. Please Mojang!

    It would be nice for Mojang to at least confirm if this is scheduled to be resolved at some point.

    On the basis of existing functionality in the game as a whole, this behavior should be considered a Bug for the Bedrock edition and prioritized as such before other Feature introductions.

    Agreed with above comment, for some reason mojang only considers recent parity issues as bugs when they should be vigorously fixing all parity issues regardless of when they were originally added, for both versions.
    For example Java has less map colours than bedrock but not a bug because it was added before the buzy bees update.

    Was really hoping this would come to bedrock with the few parody changes. I'm still hopeful that it'll come over eventually.

    I saw it on youtube and i think i most do this on my world but not work so i got sad we bedrock player need this things and not only banner marker but it is help bedrock pkayers to play more nice..

    Yeah! It's really useful for locating farms on larger maps as well. Imagine how good a Map Wall would look with differently named and coloured banners locating stuff like farms or buildings far away from the map wall itself. It can be really useful for megaprojects as well as to just mark out structures on the world.

    We need this for bedrock! I have a giant and I mean giant map with lots of buildings all over. Would be great to have this so I can mark what each building is.
