Banner marker on maps for bedrock edition

In bedrock edition of Minecraft, you can't just click a map and have a banner be displayed as a waypoint sorta thing like you can on java edition. I think this would be very helpful for us bedrock players

    It's been almost 7 years now, why hasn't this been added yet? Or at the very least another way to mark different things on a map beyond green generic markers.

    Now they are updating the map textures, I think it's time they also give us this feature too.
