Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Custom Books in Bookshelves

creating an "Empt Bookshelf" to add peoples custom books and have entire custom libraries!

    A custom library of books would be pretty amazing especially if you can color the written books on-top of that allowing custom looks for the books on the book shelf, Maybe only holding up to 5 or so books per shelf would have to be a thing, as well as making sure that you can't read but only store the books is a better option than reading from the bookshelf itself as otherwise you have updated a lectern.

    This should be a block, but there should still be an ordinary bookshelve block making it easier to power enchantment tables.
