After playing for a bit with the experimental toggle on for a while on minecraft bedrock I noticed how empty the caves felt, mostly for a lack of ores and mobs.
The lack of ores isn't that important, as it proably will be shifted around and experimented with a fair bit, the lack of mobs in the other hand is very important
Like, the big caves are generating with 2-3 mobs max, and often they are so far away I don't get atacked! I think this problem comes partially from the fact that with the new caves there is a lot of spawning space, so all the mobs get diluted, most of them being stuck on other caves that I have not explored yet and such
I would say creating new structres with mob spawners would be a cool idea, or even making so dungeons are more comon bellow Y0, to help litter those caves with mobs
Another idea would maybe make a system to spawn mobs in the bellow 0 caves and only them, with a cap much bigger than the rest of the overworld, this would help fill them up and make them more chalaging
