In recent updates Mojang have updated old features that are not up to the same standard as the rest of the game: after update aquatic villages were standing out as a very old feature in need of work, and so villages were updated, I feel, and many others in the community feel the same way, the end is also lacking behind a little bit.
I understand that the end has already had its own update but with the commands only bedrock edition extra purpur variants, the end certainly had more plans; Jeb_ has been working on combat changes and if these are coming in 1.19 or 1.20, the last time combat was updated the end came with it, maybe it would be nice if the end update came once again.
I don't expect the end update to be like and insane mod, whilst the mods are amazing many are not vanilla, I feel that the end update should be like the nether, it should create 'an end oasis' but not ruin the current feel of it, it needs to have some life but still seem a bit lifeless, void and empty, right now all we have is endermen and about 15 other blocks to go with it, compared to the 90 that caves and cliffs part one gave us.
With an end update from the past there is a hint as to what you are aiming for, but boat frequency increase and a bit more to that, barely anyone builds bases in the end, only farms really, I think it is time some life was brought in maybe linking into the teleportation theme or adding more lure to the end, especially with the two colour pallets, I think everoyne wants that.
