Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Climbing Equipment

A tool either obtainable from toolsmiths or as a drop, similar to the trident. If it was to be a dropped item, mountaineers from MC dungeons could be added. That tool would be able to hold a player suspended in the air if that player was next to a cliff, and the tool was used. The durability would go down similarly to the elytra. A player would need 2 of those tools in both their hands to actually move along the cliff.
