Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Updated farming

I think there should be new farming tools and new plants and their wild counterparts, which would be harvestable and you could plant them and domestic them. 
ideas on new plants:

corn, rye, rice could be an alternative to wheat, for example corn could grow faster and bread and other fings could be cheaper than standart wheat bread but, corn things would add less hunger

apple tree, pear tree could produce apples and pears, you could bake cakes and pastries with dough and apples, pears

grapes could be used as an alternative to berries

ideas on new farming tools etc.:

sickle (which would harvest wheat but seeds will remain in the ground) , grain mill (which would be used to create flour which combined with water in the crafting table would create dough and baked in the furnace would create bread)

    I would look to see a Farm and Forge update. Give me even more reasons to leave the safety of my MineCraft base!

    I would love to see this, maybe even some of the wild ones wouldn’t be able to be domesticated but would be worth more hunger bars, some could be poisonous and some crops could only grow in certain conditions, like temperature etc… that would entice players to leave their biomes and such and set farms and bases in other locations!

    I will admit the game does lack creativity in this section of the platform. I do think a problem with this is if we just have lettuce I don’t think realistically it would be too popular. I think if we are able to do things with the food items that we are given, I think that could make an interesting addition. I know I’m not the only one to say this but with the forming in Minecraft it does begin to become repetitive, and becomes more of a boring chore. I don’t believe any part of the video game should be considered boring I think every part should have a unique fun quark. If we were to make this small part of Minecraft more interesting. It would add that much more to the game itself, adding smaller more unique touches into different aspects of the game makes the game feel more unique, and customizable if that makes sense
