The Shadow Forest is a biome in the deep dark with blackish purple grass and fog similar to the Crimson Forest.
Vegetation
The Shadow Trees have hard deep slate bark that require a pickaxe to cut the tree once you stripped the hard bark with your pickaxe it will reveal it’s dark purple veiny wood similar to a unstripped crimson wood the leaf are dark purple leaves and take longer to collect with shears then other leaves. They’ll occasionally throw pine cone like seed on the purple grass (The Seeds can damage you if you’re within its crossfire) so they can grow and will release a ton of pollen that will cover the biome similar to spore blossom or crimson/warped spores. The sapling needs the pollen to grow and you can get from pressing the leave of deep dark tree to get pollens. The sapling doesn’t need sunlight to grow
There a lot of grass, sprouts, and dark flower
There are Venus Flytrap Plants due to no sunlight and will attack you and other mobs it can find to eat. It will shot sticky sap from its mouth to slow you down and are really fast but it will run away from a bright light source. If it manage to eat a mob it will be neutral temporarily and it depend on mob size on when it become neutral
Tentacle Vines are stationary carnivorous plant colony that will tangle and release a spike from its sucker drain your health and heal itself. You can escape only using sword, axe, and hoes and have cooldown similar to the Venus fly trap
