Hold everything in offhand (Bedrock edition)

It would be very nice to be able to hold everything in your offhand like food, torches, blocks, etc.

    Yes, we really need thisssssssss. And why don’t Minecraft just add a smaller button beside the jump button in mcpe to not confuse. Then if we want to use the offhand, just press that button or long press the button to activate the offhand, so dat we can put anything on the offhand and does not effect the main hand. Just a suggestion

    I AGREE. bedrock should be able to at least use offhand just like java.

    It's surprising this hasn't happened yet since Microsoft has been actively working to make bedrock more like, and in some cases better than java to drive more people to the marketplace. So, let's do it already.

    You can use your offhand in bedrock but you can’t put everything in your offhand

    The gameplay of the bedrock edition is considerably slowed down as a result of this, making the simply tasks of building and mining feel less progressive and more tedious.

    Adding this to the Bedrock Edition would improve the overall player experience, making gameplay soother, more efficient and ultimately more enjoyable.

    It would also bring some more parity between the different editions of the game.
