With the caves and cliffs update, it would be great for there to be a single block called the Heart of the Mountain which lies somewhere in the center of each mountain for adventurers and explorers to find. It would be very rare and very hard to find, but very rewarding for players to find and display in their fortress creations. It would be sort of like an endgame block for survival players to find, and be something like the Arkenstone in the Hobbit, but Minecraft focused.
