Riverbanks in Minecraft often feel barren. I propose adding a realistic "Riverine Forest" ecosystem featuring trees that naturally grow near water: Willow, Alder, and Poplar.
1. New Tree Species:
Weeping Willow: Found directly on the water's edge. It has long, drooping vines that players can climb. Willow wood is flexible and can be used to craft Woven Baskets for extra storage.
Black Alder: A water-resistant tree that grows in clusters in swampy areas. Its wood does not rot, making it the perfect material for Water-Resistant Planks that are ideal for docks and piers.
White Poplar: Tall, slender trees that grow rapidly. During certain cycles, they release Poplar Fluff, creating a beautiful atmospheric effect similar to falling petals.
2. Shoreline Features:
Exposed Roots: These trees have complex root systems that hang over the water, providing a place for fish to hide and players to find Root Fibers for crafting.
River Mud: A new fertile block found under these trees, perfect for growing aquatic plants or making high-quality bricks.
3. Interaction:
Medicinal Bark: Willow bark can be harvested to brew Resistance Potions, representing its real-world medicinal properties.
Shoreline Stability: These trees help stabilize the banks, preventing sand and gravel from falling into the water.
Summary: This update breathes life into river biomes by adding iconic water-loving trees, providing new building materials and atmospheric effects.
