Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Reinforced Anvil

I would suggest adding a "Reinforced Anvil", which is essentially the same as a regular anvil, but it never breaks. This is strictly for convenience, and would be a late-game item made by combining an anvil and a netherite ingot in a smithing table. This is definitely a costly item that you would probably not consider until late-game. It is more of a convenient item than a practical item, similar to using lodestone with a compass; while you could pretty easily just look at the coordinates/make a bunch of normal anvils, it would be nicer to just use a compass/never worry about it again, assuming you have the materials to make it.

    Maybe you should be able to mend an anvil in a smithing table with an iron ingot

    Maybe not make it using a regular iron anvil and a netherrite ingot in a smithing table. Maybe craft it with a mixture of an iron block, 2 diamond blocks, and 4 netherrite ingots.

    To make it practical, the Too Expensive feature should not apply on this anvil.
