New 1.26 MCPE hotbar and menu buttons are too small

In the recent v26.0 update, on Minecraft pocket edition, the menu buttons, hotbar and other buttons such as the profile button are now much smaller than before and make the game difficult to play on an iPad and impossible on a phone, especially the hotbar. Muscle memory is the reason I’m good at this game, and when the buttons are changed, I have to completely re-learn how to play and it’s frustrating. I know that you can adjust the d-pad and jump button, but with the new update, the hotbar is too small even with GUI at its largest scale and it can’t be adjusted the same way. I really enjoy this game and am currently paying for realms, so I’d like to kindly ask if we could get at least an option to change it back if not just changing it back completely, and maybe even some consideration on not changing the controls at all anymore on PE? Nobody is asking for new ones, and changing them again just makes it more difficult for everybody as a game that relies on muscle memory.     MINECRAFT IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH THE NEW UPDATE. PLEASE FIX THIS SOON IM NOT EVEN ABLE TO PLAY ON MY IPAD!!

    Same thing here - both my kids update to the newest version on their iPads and can't play now with the inventory bar being so small.  No PVP and complaints after complaints about not being able to select the right item.  Everything is too small now - please put in a way to go back to previous version's display mode.

    Yeah, this is so annoying. You're almost unable to play due to the hotbar being too small. Especially on iOS devices, where the hotbar is behaving like the X-button on pop-up ads. This is very frustrating, especially when I am subscribed and actively paying for Minecraft Realms. Fix this ASAP!

    Same as everyone post. I’m 43 and and can’t see this at all. My 8 year old also can barely see this, and unfortunately we both can barely play our words rights now. Please fix this.

    I have the same problem. After updating to 26.0 on iPad, UI elements (hotbar and inventory buttons) are significantly smaller than before and difficult to see and tap accurately. The GUI Scale Modifier slider doesn't resolve this; even at maximum, elements remain too small for comfortable play. This is a major accessibility and usability regression on iPad. Please either restore the previous scaling behavior or provide a way to increase UI element sizes beyond the current maximum.

    PVP is impossible and even in a survival mode I can’t play also up I have less problem with but it was still better before. This needs to change because PVP is one of the main reasons I love Minecraft so without that I might stop playing completely. Please fix this mojang the whole community is in complete agreement on this one. I want the old minecraft back

    The hotbar is incredibly tiny on my ipad pro too. I can get by on creative mode if I strain my eyes and read the block/item names, but switching between items quickly on survival is impossible. Tried adjusting it in settings and nothing worked. I hope it's fixed ASAP, I'm really going to miss playing Minecraft.

    I agree. The ui sizes are literally ridiculous. Even on an ipad its extremely hard to play and just throws off the visuals completely.

    Also, this is completely unfair for people who are literally paying for realms right now. The new update is genuinely terrible for gameplay and i hope they get this resolved quickly.

    This is twice in the last few months they change the GUI on mobile. I’ve struggled with the game controls since they changed a while ago. Now with v26 it is unplayable for my son on iPad. He said “they broke the game, I can’t play anymore.” So if this isn’t fixed soon, we will cancel our realms.

    Definitely agree. It’s one thing to make it the default but it’s another to completely prevent people from making it as big as it used to be. What’s the point of having a scale modifier if it’s still too small. Waaaaay too small for mobile. I just feel like I’m super far away from the screen now.

    After the new update both of my sons say it’s not as fun to play on their iPad because everything is too small. Why would Minecraft make an update that shrunk the size of the buttons. Foolish.

    Same here, our 8y old says the game is unplayable because of the too small hotbar. Please fix the issue. We have enjoyed playing realms together, but if the mobile version stays this way we have to cancel the subscription.

    I have chronic pain and can only play on my iPad, now that the buttons are so small it hurts my hands to reach to press the buttons and it’s not fun anymore. I use Minecraft as an escape, I can’t anymore. With my joint pain I can’t press things very precisely so the larger buttons really helped but now even on the largest setting, it’s still absolutely tiny! It’s made the game completely unplayable!
