Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Add a scrap of cloth and a block of cloth. (like in Minecraft Classic)

Suppose a zombie dies and drops a scrap of cloth, which can be crafted into a cloth block. This block has 8 additional colored textures, a color not found in wool (like in Minecraft Classic).
 
 
Fabric could be used to craft decorative armor (clothing) worn by all villagers.
It doesn't protect, but it does keep you warm (if only Minecraft had temperature control, as I suggested when changing the game mode's difficulty).

    imagine if you had to use these to make banners, or instead it could be called Tapestry.
    tapestries could be like a customizable banner or painting block that is thicker and maybe it could be made into custom pixel art with the available cloth color.
    and it's another use for the loom.
