I'm here to expand on the mechanics of the current mace being in the game, so it can be used against mobs and players in a fun way.
The flaws;
Currently the mace is an overpowered weapon that is being used with the elytras and spamming while its cooldown is still reloading, which doesn't make it fun at all.
And along with that the mace istelf is a situational weapon, which means it only can be used in one way otherwise it isn't usefull. And in grounded combat it doesn't perform.
The nerf;
the mace will need to have its cooldown full before being able perform a smash attack from above and not while its cooldown is reloading like currently, so it cannot be spammed with the elytras.
The new ability;
The mace will be able to perform something called a "grounded smash". By right clicking, the mace will charge, and when released will swing down from above dealing accumulated damage.
The longer it charges the more damage it deals, but of course it has a charging cap limit. Unlike the regular smash attack which doesn't.
Why?;
It will offer a whole moveset for the mace instead of it just being the current smash attack and that's it,
And simultaniously make it as reliable as all the other weapons.
