Merge slimes into a bigger version

I'd like to see smaller mobs like the slime and magma cube being able to merge into a larger slime.

At most, two large size 3 slimes would merge into a huge size 4 slime

For example, size 4 for tropical slime

why not let them merge to 9 like a slime block, or 64
so it's divisible by even numbers kinda.
