Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Amethyst and emerald lights

If we had something similar to the lantern but with amethyst, and crystals usually refract light in real life so it makes sense. Same for Emeralds. If they were more common, we could do more stuff with them. Just a thought.

    I'm really hoping at some point there might be some sort of magic system/new weapon with amethyst since there really isn't much use for it beyond the spyglass.
