When you spectate a Warden, the screen shows a normal player view, but that doesn’t make sense. The Warden is supposed to be blind. Other mobs already have vision trait like the Endermen see the world's colors inverted, spiders have eight sights of vision, and Creepers see in green so the Warden should also have a way of seeing the world.
Instead of normal vision, the Warden’s screen should be mostly black, representing showing blindness. However, it would still “see” through sound like it does in the Minecraft. When a noise happens nearby, a ripple effect similar to what happens when you make noise near a sculk sensor. It would appear in the direction the sound came from. Louder or closer sounds would create stronger, clearer ripples.
If the sound continues and the Warden identifies it as a player, the last known position of that sound would be highlighted with a red box of the Minecraft avatar. This outline wouldn’t show full details of the player, only a vague shape of them based on sound. If the player starts moving loudly, the players highlight moves with every footstep, or If the player starts moving quietly or becomes silent, the red outline would slowly fade away when the warden doubts himself, forcing the Warden to rely on new sounds to track them again, unless he knows their there.
This system would make spectating the Warden more correct and aligns with the lore the warden has and how the Warden actually senses the world in Minecraft.
