I suggest adding Horseradish to Minecraft as a high-tier agricultural challenge. This crop is for players who find current farming too easy and want more depth in food mechanics.
Key Features:
Difficult Cultivation: Horseradish takes twice as long to grow as wheat. It requires specific light levels and cannot be automated easily, rewarding manual labor.
Combat Utility: Instead of making mobs weaker, Horseradish allows the player to craft "Strong Sauce." When consumed with meat, it grants a temporary "Adrenaline" effect — increasing attack speed but causing the hunger bar to deplete rapidly once the effect ends.
Medical Realism: Consuming grated Horseradish can clear the "Poison" effect (e.g., from Cave Spiders), but deals half a heart of damage to the player due to its extreme pungency.
Scarcity: One plant yields only one root. To expand the farm, the player must sacrifice the root to get seeds, making mass production a long-term goal.
This crop respects the core survival difficulty of Minecraft and adds a "high-risk, high-reward" element to farming
