Better Performance for Java Edition

I have been playing Java Edition for a while now, and I love the way we can mod the game compared to bedrock. But the only thing I hate about Java Edition is I have way to many lag spikes. Whenever I get into new chunks my FPS drops dramatically.

My Computer's Hardware-

CPU: Intel i5 5500u

GPU: Integrated Graphics

RAM: 8 GB of DDR3

I know it is not the most powerful system but bedrock runs without an issue so just thinking if Java gets the same performace
